The project consists of approximately 7,270 linear feet of 30-inch, 24-inch, 16-inch, 12-inch, and 8-inch water lines, 1050 linear feet of 24-inch storm sewer, 4,400 linear feet of 54-inch, 48-inch, 24-inch, 18-inch, 16-inch, and 12-inch sanitary sewer rehabilitation and total concrete roadway reconstruction with curb and gutter.

The project, which is designed to provide drainage improvements within the Harris Gully watershed and reduce the flood potential to the Texas Medical Center, Rice University, Hermann Park, and surrounding areas, will last for 450 calendar days and be done in phases. This project is anticipated to be completed by May, 2009. Typically, work hours will be between 7:00am to 7:00pm 6 days a week. The contractor on the project is Texas Sterling Construction Co.
