The project consists of construction of a single 14-ft by 12-ft reinforced concrete box storm sewer from Swift to 100-ft south of Robinhood. The storm sewer improvements will also include associated inlets, inlet leads, and laterals. The inlets and inlet spacing were designed based on the 5-year design rainfall event. The roadway pavement will be reconstructed full width concrete with curb and gutter. The pavement from Swift to University Blvd. will be a four-lane undivided section with sidewalks on the east side of Kirby. The pavement will transition to a four-lane undivided section with continuous left-turn lane from University to 100-ft south of Robinhood.
