Project Description

The project consists of construction of a dual 12-ft X 12-ft reinforced concrete box storm sewer from 100-ft south of Dorrington to just south of Holcombe Blvd. From this point the project consists of a single 14-ft X 12-ft reinforced concrete box storm sewer to Swift St. The storm sewer improvements will also include associated inlets, inlet leads, and laterals. The inlets and inlet spacing were designed based on the 5-year design rainfall event. The roadway pavement will be reconstructed full width concrete with curb and gutter. The pavement from 100-ft south of Dorrington to Holcombe will be a four-lane divided section with median including sidewalks. The pavement will transition to a four-lane undivided section from Holcombe to Swift with sidewalks on the east side of Kirby. A new 24-in diameter water line with appurtenances will be constructed along the entire project route.
