The City of Houston's Comprehensive Drainage Plan (CDP) is an engineering analysis that was first completed in September 1999. This document contains information on existing storm sewer infrastructure and identifies locations for future improvement in the City's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
An engineering analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS) associated with the Kingwood area was completed in January 2003. The results of this analysis can be accessed via the link below.
The City recently completed an analysis of the remainder of its infrastructure, or those areas annexed/incorporated by the City since the late 1990s. The engineering analysis and GIS have also been incorporated into the web-based format.
A hard copy of the original CDP may be viewed at the City of Houston Public Works and Engineering Department located at 611 Walker or purchased at Vanco, Inc. (713-690-5636).
